SUMMER LEARNING
During the summer break, many children lose ground in reading and maths, making the following school year more challenging.
Created in response to COVID‑19 learning loss, our summer camps keep students engaged with four weeks of focused academic support that reinforce core skills and help children return to school ready to succeed.
How We Help
1
Experienced Teachers
Two experienced teachers lead our four‑week summer learning camps at Adelaide Primary, giving students focused, full‑day instruction and support.
2
Focused Learning
Our lessons build key reading and maths skills, helping prevent summer learning loss so students start the new school year confident and well prepared.
3
Access & Well-being
A free daily bus service, camp T‑shirts, learning materials, and healthy meals ensure that every child has the support they need to participate.
Meet The People

Our summer learning camps are led by experienced teachers who ensure camp runs smoothly and support every child's success.
They create a calm, welcoming space where children can focus, make progress and grow in confidence.

Art and sports sessions run by our volunteers add variety and fun, giving the children opportunities to be creative and active alongside their academic work.

Our summer learning camps are coordinated Tanya Melich Crone and Nuala Seligman, Adelaide Auxiliary.
